Job Description:

We are a growing entertainment, media and sports company, looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company's financial health and growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly in technical accounting initiatives, financial analysis, and revenue recognition compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Lead and implement technical accounting initiatives, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant standards.
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and other accounting requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and analyze budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with experience from public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work-site Type: Hybrid, onsite 3 days per week in West Los Angeles, CA

Compensation: Target hiring salary is anticipated at $125,000 - $140,000 annually + discretionary bonus. Each candidate's qualifications and background will be considered when determining the official salary for the position.
