Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Python and C# Application Developer to be a key part of the Business Intelligence (BI) team which supports business activities across the organization. Under guidance from senior members, the Application Developer will create new applications, and will support existing BI applications. The team is looking for a team player who is passionate about coding and who loves to build efficient code and applications from scratch.

  • Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Python and C#/.NET applications and software solutions based on requirements from cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot system and data output issues in a timely manner.
  • Independently develop code or modify code and systems.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and applications.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation for all development and modification.
  • Ensures integrity and security of institutional data.
  • Collaborates with the business and the BI team.

Skills & Technology:
  • Python.
  • C# (preferred .NET and Blazor).
  • AWS setup and architecture.
  • AWS Devops.
  • Docker, Kubernetes.

Education and Experience:
  • AWS Certified Developer or AWS specialty certification.
  • 5 years proven experience developing in AWS.
  • 10 years proven experience as a developer.
  • Experience with API Gateway, with code built tools (AWS Codebuild, Jenkins), Serverless development, and with common AWS developing tools and technical essentials(Elastic Beanstalk and Container Services).
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with OOP, software development Lifecycle.
  • Experience with code versioning tools.
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the energy industry, ISO market data.
  • 10% travel possible
