We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Test Lead with specialized experience in Guidewire Billing testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance domain testing, functional testing, and automation testing using Selenium and Cucumber BDD. This role involves creating and executing test cases, developing test strategies, managing defects, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of Guidewire Billing modules.
Ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Apply extensive knowledge of insurance processes to validate software functionalities.
Collaborate with business analysts to understand insurance-specific requirements.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Execute test cases, document results, and ensure software quality.
Perform regression testing when necessary.
Develop and implement test strategies and test plans.
Identify test requirements from specifications and design detailed test plans.
Use defect management tools such as ALM and JIRA to log, track, and manage defects.
Work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber BDD.
Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.
Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks.
Foster strong working relationships with development teams and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Guidewire Billing testing experience.
Insurance testing experience.
Functional testing (test case creation, execution, strategy & plan creation.
Defect management using tools such as ALM, JIRA etc.
Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
Automation experience (using selenium, Cucumber, BDD) is good to have.
