Job description:



Everest Global Services, a member of Everest Group, Ltd., is seeking a Senior Accountant - AP & Expense Management within its Corporate Finance Department in our Warren, NJ headquarters.


This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote.



Role & Responsibilities:



  • Reviewing/posting all journal entries


  • Review and approval of monthly general ledger vouchers and rent payments.


  • Responsible for Fixed Assets module- capitalization of assets and depreciation expenses


  • Reviewing Reconciliation of accounts monthly and quarterly


  • Analyzing of expense accounts monthly


  • Reviewing preparation of 1099 data


  • Review Concur travel uploads.


  • Review of rent/leases journals and reconciliations


  • Responsible for the company's T&E report submissions, approvals, and payments utilizing concur. Manage American Express Corporate Card program/payments.


  • Assist in updating deliverables in connection with quarterly and annual financial.


  • Assist in special projects as needed.


  • Update and set up new processes within the department.





Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree majoring in accounting, finance or business or equivalent experience is required.


  • Minimum of five to seven years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.


  • Accounts Payable accounting experience is plus.


  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially with Excel


  • Proficient in Oracle


  • Ability to work with and communicate to others is essential.


  • Ability to analyze and understand data as it pertains to the specific processes.
