Responsibilities: • Create Production Orders for both internal details and end assemblies to meet Customer and Company schedule requirements. • Provide on-time starts and material releases while focusing on part allocation, material flow and shortage management. • Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials necessary for production. • Interface with internal Purchasing to ensure a steady material flow. • Work to manage any material delays or inventory issues. • Access Customer portals to check on any schedule changes. • Work within the SAP system to continually search for opportunities to enhance the production and material process using a variety of problem-solving techniques. • Participate in process improvement opportunities using CORE and Lean Strategies to ensure accurate and prompt inventory accounting and financial reporting. • Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S program by following all policies and procedures and completing all required training and supporting EH&S activities.
Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in using SAP with emphasis on the production and material modules • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel. • VBA knowledge a plus. • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to adjust to changing priorities. • Ability to work with all levels of employees, management, and customers. • Strong analytical skills including problem solving and troubleshooting. • Able to demonstrate the practical application of continuous improvement principles. • Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manne
