Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate truck recoveries of all LAX airport destined air import shipments.
- Communicating with origin office in regards to the delays and exception that affects the shipments
- Work with the airline GHA for nomination and confirming cargo availability.
- Setting up and protection of payment for airline handling fees
- Filing Preliminary Claims with the Airline and GHA for any damages or loss cargo
- Input all data entry such as ATA and POD information on the master bill level
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum experience in Logistics (2 years)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Willing to have on the job training.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and phone etiquette
- Excellent customer service and follow up skills
- Knowledge in International shipping
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Able to use MS Excel
