Job Description:
- Performs the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications and software or computing architecture and computing application system designs.
- Analysis of end user processes to define application requirements.
- Writes and compiles complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications.
- Modifies or upgrades complex applications to maintain functionality and performance.
- Identifies and recommends improvements. Identifies and resolves complex programming or application architecture problems.
TOP 3-5 MUST HAVE REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
1. - Ability to work on Windows, Linux, and Solaris computers`
2. - Experience with software programming processes, including but not limited to, version control, block point packaging and releasing, etc.
3. - Experience with relational database design, PL/SQL scripting and optimization
4. - Experience in building and deploying Java Applications
5. - Experience with unit / component / integration testing to ensure high standards before delivery
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
1. - Experience with conducting design reviews and guiding developers on the production of effective designs to solve complex problems
2. - Development and support for Custom CAD utilities to support 3D Model Based Design and Manufacturing
3. - Strong skills in C++, Perl, Windows scripting and XML including XML Schema and XML StyleSheets
4. - Good skills in using Windows and Linux including TShell and Bash
5. - Experience in dealing with geometry-related applications from PTC: Creo Parametric, Creo Parametric TOOLKIT and Creo View
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
