Job Description:

The Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking a neurosurgeon specializing in general neurosurgery, specifically in the development and further investigation of the role of oxidative stress in AD, PD and ALS and apoptosis

• Participation in the development of programs and services to serve the needs of neurosurgical­ patients as deemed medically appropriate.

• Assisting with the interdisciplinary development of continuing medical education for the medical staff.

• Contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the specialty of using imaging modalities for iron and glutathione interplay in ALS and apoptosis related research.

• Participate and provide leadership in the teaching component of house staff and fellow training programs for Neurological Surgery postgraduate trainees.

Minimum education to be considered for this position is an MD.
