We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Takeoff Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and thorough earthwork takeoffs using AGTEK software. The Takeoff Technician will work closely with our estimating team to ensure timely and competitive bids on construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine earthwork quantities and required materials
Use AGTEK software to produce accurate earthwork takeoffs
Compile takeoff data in comprehensive job write-up
Collaborate with the estimating team and client to ensure bids are scoped properly and submitted timely
Attend project meetings to review takeoff results
Provide support to project managers and field staff as needed
Assist with other estimating duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience using AGTEK software for earthwork takeoffs
Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate takeoffs
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
