Summary
As a global supplier, we develop and produce lightweight and multifunctional components and systems for noise and heat protection for almost all automobile manufacturers around the world. The Quality Engineer will serve as the direct interface to the customer while maintaining and
monitoring customer portals. He is also the interface to the Advanced Quality Engineering (AQE)
department throughout the program development phase.
Job Description
Support in developing, implementing and coordinating the Integrated Management
System (IMS) to meet or exceed IATF 16949:2016 certification requirements.
Maintain, enforce, and apply Corporate Quality programs, policies, and procedures; including evaluating the precision and accuracy of production, testing measurement and analytic equipment.
Maintain and improve documentation to support production processes and ensure Quality of manufactured product.
Maintain program related Quality Documentation (process flow chart, P-FMEA, control plan).
Perform required PPAP studies and documentation, (i.e. dimensionals. weight studies,etc.)
Provide information to support lessons learned efforts based on internal and customer related Quality issues.
Provide training on processes, procedures and standards defined in the Integrated Management System (IMS), as needed.
Responsible for maintaining 5S in department and periodically participating with audit process
Support in preparations and participate in activities related to IATF16949, Customer and CCC/CCAP Audits, as needed.
Responsible for Customer Complaint management and activities relating to root-cause analysis, corrective actions, 8D's and tracking within the customer portals.
Participate in Vendor Complaint management, as needed.
Monitor and pull scorecards from customer portals for review.
Comply with federal, state and local legal requirements.
Model effective work habits while maintaining a positive and optimistic outlook.
Effective communication and cooperation with other members of the team, including subordinates, peers or managers.

Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Quality Management Systems, or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in automotive Quality Management
Basic knowledge of Quality Management Tools and Automotive Standards
International experience (working with suppliers, customers and co-workers from a variety of countries)
Authorization to work and reside in the United States
Possess already or have the ability to obtain a passport as this position may require limited, infrequent travel within the United States and abroad.
