Title: Director of Reconciliation Strategy

Job Summary:

Build solid understanding of internal operating accounts and reconciliations carried out, becoming a subject matter expert providing guidance and responding to queries. Presents data analysis conclusions, recommendations, and updates to initiatives to senior management. Produce and deliver timely and accurate reporting. Contribute and manage ongoing initiatives to standardize and streamline reporting to drive efficiency and automation. Contribute to the achievement of team's goals. Participate in audit, risk, and control investigations; follow up on actions through to conclusion. Work closely with the lines of business, risk, control, technology and senior management (up to Executive level). Being an integral part of the go to team for systems, process & automation change.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions.

Experience in financial services

Experience in a control or risk-based function

Responsible to produce high quality, accurate output under tight timescales

Good analytical skills, including ability to extract data, analyze and interpret it.

Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives as part of the leadership team.

Deploy data and research to drive cross-business corporate prioritization.

Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve mutual goals.

Form and lead internal teams, providing training and mentorship as needed.

Directly and indirectly, manage staff with the goal of enhancing professional development and personal growth.

Manage relationships with key clients.

Leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of other employees, such as senior directors and managers, and ensuring a healthy working environment.

Contributing to strategic business development, and the profitability of the company as determined by the company's strategic goals.

Evaluating the success of the company in achieving its goals and formulating plans to correct any issues if the company is not achieving its goals.

Managing the daily operations and revenue generation of the company and ensuring its continual growth.

Assisting in maximizing the company's operating performance and achieving its financial goals.

Assisting in managing the company's finances, identifying ways to increase revenue and decrease costs, analyzing financial reports, and preparing operating budgets.

Signing documents and making commitments for which the company is legally liable.

Maintaining awareness of, expansion opportunities, customers, markets, and new industry developments and standards.

Qualifications

Strategic vision with the ability to execute

Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity

Impeccable judgment and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client interactions

Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating skills

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Education

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field

MBA or other graduate-level degree preferred

Minimum of eight years' experience leading high-performing teams

Previous project management or business development experience a plus
