Job Description:
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our investment process. This position reports to the Managing Director. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Modeling:
Build bespoke financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
Maintain models throughout the investment process and post-acquisition management.
Communicate key inputs and outputs of models effectively to the team.
Generate ad-hoc reports as required.
Deal Due Diligence:
Review deal documentation and conduct in-depth data room reviews.
Ensure details are accurately reflected in financial models and effectively communicated to the team.
Source and review potential deals.
Corporate Finance:
Assist in the annual budgeting process.
Maintain annual budgets and financial models.
Manage fund-level models and month-end close actuals.
Communicate financial strategy and plans to the C-suite and overall team.
Provide ad-hoc reporting for funds and company.
Maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast.
Collaborate with an external accounting firm to ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
Manage cash flow and treasury operations.
Conduct weekly meetings with the management team to review business progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA is a plus.
Proven experience in financial modeling and deal due diligence.
At least three years of experience.
Strong understanding of corporate finance principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
