Job Description:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our investment process. This position reports to the Managing Director. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Modeling:
  • Build bespoke financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Maintain models throughout the investment process and post-acquisition management.
  • Communicate key inputs and outputs of models effectively to the team.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Deal Due Diligence:
  • Review deal documentation and conduct in-depth data room reviews.
  • Ensure details are accurately reflected in financial models and effectively communicated to the team.
  • Source and review potential deals.
  • Corporate Finance:
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process.
  • Maintain annual budgets and financial models.
  • Manage fund-level models and month-end close actuals.
  • Communicate financial strategy and plans to the C-suite and overall team.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting for funds and company.
  • Maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast.
  • Collaborate with an external accounting firm to ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
  • Manage cash flow and treasury operations.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with the management team to review business progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or CFA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling and deal due diligence.
  • At least three years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
  • Location: on-site, Coral Gables, Florida
