The Financial Analyst II is responsible for reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operating data for accounting and business operations management. This position will generate financial forecasts and create financial models to aid the organization's financial and business planning decisions.
CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Contributes to the outstanding reputation of the company by always putting the customer first, treating fellow associates with respect, and conducting business with highest integrity
Supports Operations by gathering and analyzing data to drive sales & operations planning and site level profit & loss statements
Serves as subject matter expert on business intelligence tool (i.e. QlikSense, Birst, etc.)
Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and narrative results analysis for management including but not limited to Operations, Sales, Marketing & Product Development
Provides analytical support to management to include Profit and Loss (P&L) projections/forecasts, scenario planning, ratio analysis, budgeting, and cost analysis related to business models
Prepares journal entries, calculates accruals, allocates expenses, and closely interacts with the accounting team during the month-end close process
Develops and distributes standard and ad-hoc monthly reporting
Works with management to develop, monitor and report-out on key performance indicators for the business
Assists with the development, preparation, and presentation of short- and long-range financial plans

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • College degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent required • 3+ years of experience in business, accounting, and/or finance experience required • Demonstrated strong aptitude for problem-solving, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking • Must be strategic and results-oriented • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver first-time quality product within deadlines • Must be self-motivated • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications • Proficiency in ERP and BI tools - experience with Infor M3, QlikSense, and Birst is a plus • Proficiency in SQL desired • Ability to present and communicate at all levels of the business • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
