Location: Syosset, NY

Position Overview: As the Sr. Director of Creative Services reporting to the Senior Vice President Marketing, you will be at the forefront of shaping the visual identity and brand experience for consumers. Your role encompasses leadership, creativity, and strategic vision to drive impactful design solutions that captivate consumers, drive sales, and elevate brand presence through collaboration with the brand development and sales teams.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Lead a team of creative professionals, including designers, project managers and production coordinators to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns and branding initiatives for a portfolio of over 100 premium wines and spirits from around the globe.
  • Continually advance workflow processes and enhance team collaboration to drive innovation and creative output.
  • Provide cost-effective strategies and optimize resource allocation for substantial cost savings while maintaining creative excellence.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and agencies to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of creative projects that consistently exceed expectations. Act as a liaison between creative team members and other departments to facilitate communication and alignment.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of over 300 projects weekly, ensuring on time delivery, within budget, exceeding quality standards. Projects include advertising campaigns, packaging, point of sale, promotional items, event materials.
  • Efficiently manage and maintain accurate records of billable time and expenses for brand accounts, ensuring timely and precise invoicing
  • Manage transition and operation of third-party digital storefront and off-site warehouse as well as on-site print shop, warehouse, and showroom.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge, enabling them to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and retail marketing. Champion innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of new tools or techniques to enhance creative output and drive results.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience (10 years) in a creative leadership role, preferably within a retail or consumer goods environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into creative strategies and solutions
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets effectively
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in POS materials, packaging design, and brand identity development
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Understanding of alcohol beverage market and the three (3) tier system
  • Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as Microsoft Office and project management software
