Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain test processes for space hardware.
- Lead the development and implementation of corrective actions during manufacturing and testing.
- Test, analyze data, and collaborate with the engineering department.
- Interpret customer test requirements and estimate costs for test programs.
- Interface daily with Program, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to meet delivery commitments.
Typical Duties:
- Support laboratory testing of space hardware.
- Develop and validate tooling concepts.
- Create and maintain operation/test procedures.
- Prepare standardized operation/test sheets.
- Define test rig and facility requirements.
- Participate in Integrated Product Development teams.
- Review drawings/concepts and resolve producibility concerns.
Requirements:
- Experience with advanced instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
- Knowledge of LabVIEW is a plus.
- 5+ years experience testing complex mechanical systems (e.g., heat exchangers, pumps, fans, accumulators).
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
