This position will be responsible for designing all tooling for (SLS) hardware and ensuring that the processes for tool design are followed.
Candidate will create tool designs working with the cognizant Manufacturing or Test Engineers.
Candidate must ensure processes and procedures comply with all applicable Environmental, Health and Safety requirements as well as all the applicable quality requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelors. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, candidate needs Associate's Degree with 3+ years of experience or no degree with 8+ years of experience.
Candidate should preferably have intermediate experience (2+ years and up).
Must be able to review drawings and concepts and resolve producibility concerns.
Must be able work well in an integrated product development/ design environment.
Candidate must possess a positive attitude and be able communicate well with staff, IPD teams & management.
Desired experience should include development of tooling for complex mechanical systems, and components such as, heat exchangers, pumps, fans, & accumulators.
Looking for experience in 3D modeling and drafting of Mechanical Designs.
