We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Manager to join our Compliance Department in the Americas Division. Reporting to the Data Analytics Director, FCC Analytics, the Data Analytics Manager will independently perform detailed analytics work to support the Compliance Analytics group's goals and objectives. The successful candidate will collect, aggregate, analyze, and visualize customer, product, and transaction data, developing reports and performing analysis to enhance BSA/AML tools and systems, including AML transaction monitoring.

Role Objectives:

Data Analysis & Visualization:

Collect, aggregate, analyze, and visualize customer, product, and transaction data to identify trends and evaluate changes in risk exposure.

Develop and produce MIS reports for submission to senior Branch management.

Risk Modeling:

Translate qualitative risk factors into responsive risk models leveraging new technology.

Support stakeholder teams in performing periodic model and rule tuning exercises.

Actimize SAM Application:

Oversee investigations and root cause analyses for issues and exceptions related to the Actimize SAM application.

Administer rules configuration, business parameters, and day-to-day operations of the Actimize SAM application.

Tool Development:

Collaborate with Japan Research Institute-America partners to develop and test tools and systems in line with policy and regulatory expectations.

Apply economic, quantitative, and statistical skills in the development of tools and systems.

Continuous Improvement:

Develop knowledge of new analytical techniques and data sources that provide ongoing risk mitigation.

Understand how emerging data and technology issues may impact BSA/AML Compliance Department's objectives.

Experience/Knowledge:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.

Experience:

7 to 10 years of BSA/AML/OFAC compliance experience, particularly with data, platforms, and data management.

Strong reasoning ability and analytical skills.

Proven ability to transform Compliance business problems and requirements into analytics work product.

Experience developing work product independently in a fluid environment.

Knowledge of analytics related to customer onboarding, customer due diligence, and/or periodic reviews.

Familiarity with vendor BSA/AML transaction monitoring systems (e.g., Actimize).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in database technologies such as Oracle (PL/SQL) and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).

Experience with analytics tools like R and Python.

Proficiency in reporting tools such as PowerBI and Excel.

Familiarity with Azure.

Experience with SharePoint and the Microsoft Office suite.

Other Skills:

Maintains a high level of confidentiality, unquestionable character, integrity, and professionalism.

Familiarity with regtech is a plus.

ACAMS certification or other equivalent industry certification is a plus.
