Position Overview
Investment Analysts are part of a team who services more than 100 families, advising on sophisticated investment portfolios including traditional and alternative investments. Investment Analysts work with the advisory team to help clients meet or exceed their objectives and enhance the long-term investment performance of their portfolios. Investment Analysts are responsible for assisting the advisory team with in-depth research of client portfolio performance, asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing, as monitoring current investments.
Principal Responsibilities • Assist client advisors with in-depth analysis of client portfolio performance. • Assist in asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing, and trade execution. • Monitor current investments in client portfolios. • Assist with client meeting preparation and follow-up. • Manage system for incoming investment communications, including investment manager updates, capital calls and distributions. • Assist with updating reports, views and data using portfolio accounting system. • General research, analysis and reporting using spreadsheets. • Develop strategy and industry expertise and stay current on investment strategy specifics and market environment.
?Qualifications • 2+ years of industry experience preferred. • Top-tier academic background; Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong quantitative and analytical skills. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required; Bloomberg experience preferred. • High level of maturity and ethical standards. • Proactive, team / service oriented, and a good sense of humor is appreciated.
