Our client's operating affiliates provide a continuum of residential and non-residential senior care services across a wide range of settings including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities.
THE POSITION
The Regional Director of Clinical Services position is of an executive nature, comprised of complex leadership and administrative components associated with health care issues and policies.
The Regional Director of Clinical Services (RN) assists the CNO in providing leadership to nursing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance and quality measures, managing costs, and establishing strong nursing practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will encompass the following areas:
Organizational developments and change management for QAPI
Oversight of CQI Nurse Consultants and schedule to ensure one (1) facility visit per week and two (2) QIS surveys per year.
Supports the Directors of Nursing within the assigned centers.
Conducts facility visits to ensure QOC/QOL is provided to all residents/patients and to ascertain needs for additional support by reviewing the facilities QI/QM's for trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
Credentials of a Registered Professional Nurse with a current New York State license and current registration in good standing required.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Geriatric (LTC or Assisted Living) nursing experience of at least five years, one of which has been in a nursing leadership role necessary. Knowledge of subacute care, MDS and Assisted Living levels of care is also preferred.
