Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting product demand, developing inventory plans, and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stock outs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, and excellent forecasting skills.

Job Duties:
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for all products based on historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to gather information on upcoming promotions, new product launches, and other events that may impact demand.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts as needed to reflect changes in market conditions or business priorities.
  • Develop inventory strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Analyze inventory data and identify opportunities for improvement in inventory management processes.
  • Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide input on supply chain planning and inventory management strategies.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in demand planning or inventory management, preferably in the outdoor or retail industry or manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in NetSuite, Power BI, MS Excel, Access, and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with our international cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of demand planning software and inventory management systems is a plus.
