Duration: 9 month contract with potential for extension OR conversion to FTE
Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite)
Role Description: We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team for a contract position focused on Calypso implementation. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing business needs, documenting system functionalities, designing solutions, conducting testing, and providing user training and support. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in business systems analysis, with a background in the banking or financial industry being advantageous. While experience with Calypso is desirable, it is not mandatory. The ability to work efficiently with Excel and demonstrate a fast-learning attitude are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Document system functionalities and technical specifications.
Design solutions and workflows to meet business needs.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.
Provide user training and support for system implementation and updates.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Requirements:
2-6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
Experience with Foreign Exchange or Derivatives is considered a plus.
Familiarity with Calypso is preferred but not required.
Previous experience in the banking industry is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
