Job Summary:

Responsible for providing assistance and supporting the coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with the organization's strategies and goals. Performs system and workflow analysis to improve productivity and alleviate bottlenecks. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures. Oversees the day-to-day operations of Payment Systems, Digital Services, Operations Support, Documentation, and Central Processing.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally to solve issues and implement change that aligns with organizational strategies and goals. Proactively communicate and collaborate with multiple key business units to analyze information needs and functional requirements, drive efficiencies, and deliver on strategic goals.
  • Recommend changes to processes with the goal of streamlining workflow processes and enhancing delivery of products and services.
  • Design and develop complex workflow enhancements, working with subject matter experts and executive leadership team.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining and updating various procedural/policy manuals. Ensure consistency at all times between documented procedures and actual processing. Publish and maintain procedures and resources to company Intranet.
  • Communicate changes to the organization using formalized communication templates.
  • Act as a resource to clarify and verify operating procedures and policies.
  • Provide direction and leadership to staff; guide and coach staff in the completion of their day-to-day responsibilities and ensure that established policies and procedures are followed. Oversee the day-to-day operations of Payment Systems, Digital Services, Operations Support, Documentation, and Central Processing.
  • Handle escalated calls and member situations related to operational functions/processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination
  • 4-7 years of Financial Services experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication, written and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge of credit union operations, policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
  • A high level of proficiency using Symitar.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, PDF tools, and Adobe Dreamweaver.
