Job Description: The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative functions of the office, including billing/timekeeping, payroll, business compliance, and general office management. This role is integral to maintaining our operational efficiency and ensuring a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing/Timekeeping:
Manage and process client billing and invoicing.
Track and record employee time and project hours.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of timekeeping data.
Prepare and distribute client statements and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Payroll:
Process monthly payroll for all employees.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Maintain and update payroll records.
Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Business Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all business regulations and requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and government regulations.
Assist with the preparation and filing of regulatory reports.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
General Office Management:
Oversee daily office operations and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Support the executive team with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in office management, preferably within an engineering or technical environment.
Experience with billing, payroll, and compliance procedures.
Familiarity with accounting software and timekeeping systems.
