Our client is a general contractor that specializes in commercial and healthcare construction projects. They are looking to hire a Senior Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois.
Experience and Skills:
Must have 10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager
Having a portfolio of clients is preferred
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline
Coordinate project activities, ensuring effective communication among team members
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation
Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage financial aspects
Ensure construction activities adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards
Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet project specifications
Provide regular project updates to all relevant parties, keeping them informed of progress, challenges, and resolutions
Proactively identify potential issues and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track
Address and resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process
BS in Construction Management or similar preferred
Benefits:
Base salary of $100,000 - $140,000, depending on experience
