Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned and meticulous Senior Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in underwriting commercial loans, C&I lending and investment, commercial mortgage lending, and construction lending. A strong background in commercial loans and proficiency in MS Office software are essential. Experience in supervising or coaching junior credit analysts will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Underwrite and analyze commercial loans, including C&I lending, commercial mortgage lending, and construction lending.
Assess the creditworthiness of potential clients and make informed credit decisions.
Prepare and present detailed credit reports and analyses to senior management.
Supervise and mentor junior credit analysts, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Utilize MS Office software, including WORD, Excel, Outlook, and ACCESS, to manage and organize loan documentation and reporting.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to credit risk management.
Monitor and review the commercial loan portfolio to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting commercial loans, C&I lending and investment, commercial mortgage lending, and construction lending.
At least 8 years of experience in a commercial loan background (flexible if necessary).
Proven experience in supervising or coaching junior credit analysts.
Proficiency in MS Office software, including WORD, Excel, Outlook, and ACCESS.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Completion of in-house corporate training programs, such as those offered by Bank of America or Chase.
