Capstone IT is seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry to join our client's team for a 6-month contract role. In this crucial role, you will play a key role in supporting a large-scale transformation project. By leveraging your business acumen, technical expertise, and experience within the healthcare domain, you will collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the client's organization, gather requirements, and ensure the successful delivery of project deliverables that meet the client's business goals.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Program Manager, Project Managers, business SMEs, and delivery teams to gather and analyze organizational assets, refine business requirements, document technical specifications, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly assess business needs, confirm understanding, and identify related technical requirements for development teams.
Work effectively across multiple cross-functional teams to identify and execute upon project deliverables.
Act as a bridge between business operations and IT teams, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the requirements-gathering process.
Respond promptly to ad-hoc information requests and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Assist with requirements gatekeeping and assess the impact of new requirements on the existing set.
Participate in the requirements handoff and a "lite" design review to ensure functionality aligns with business needs.
Collaborate with SMEs to document changes to current technology workflows.
Partner with the QA team to provide information that supports the testing strategy and execution of testing plans.
Work with IT and Data teams to define implementation tasks and establish delivery timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solutions Analyst.
Prior experience working as a contract BA for at least 2+ years is preferred.
Strong understanding of the business and technology landscape, with expertise in data mapping, applications, integration, and analysis.
Proven ability to leverage visualization tools to effectively communicate complex information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and functional teams.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Strong facilitation and observational skills to effectively manage meetings and document key insights.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining focus and meeting deadlines.
Experience with claims processing (preferred).
Proficiency in project management tools like SmartSheet, Facets, Azure Dev Ops, or similar applications (preferred)
