One of our clients is a large healthcare organization all throughout Connecticut. They pride themselves on providing accessible, affordable, and equitable healthcare solutions. They are looking for an IT Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the Information Technology department within the organization. This role requires a blend of financial expertise, IT knowledge, and strong analytical skills to effectively manage budgets, forecast expenses, and optimize financial performance. This is an onsite position based in Farmington, CT.
IT Finance Manager's Responsibilities and Duties
Directly manage and mentor one Financial Analyst, providing guidance and support in conducting financial analysis related to IT expenditures.
Analyze Cloud spend and other growth areas for IT support, comparing current expenditures to historic baseline costs to identify potential savings opportunities.
Work closely with IT partners to track application and data usage, developing and maintaining projected spend for near-term and long-term planning and budgeting for the IT department as a whole.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop IT budget plans and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
IT Finance Manager's Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
