As the Mechanical Engineering Lead for 3D Printing, you will play an important role in shaping the future of this brand and ensuring our customers are well supported in using our products.
This role requires you to be highly organized with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. You must simultaneously handle multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of 3D printer selection and configuration
o Monitor ongoing trends in 3D printing and anticipate improvement opportunities
o Perform performance and reliability testing on 3D printer models
o Develop 3D printing configuration settings to optimize performance for XO Armor customers
Oversee 3D printer procurement and logistics
o Manage 3D printer supply chain and supplier relationships
o Manage XO Armor support staff for order fulfillment
Conduct technical onboarding with new customers
Provide technical support to existing customers
o Create technical documentation as new processes are implemented
Qualifications: • Required:
o Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
o 3D printing experience
o CAD proficiency
o Effective communication skills working with non-technical users
o Self-motivated
o Project management experience • Preferred:
o Leadership experience
o Track record of working well on a team
o Experience tracking tasks in Jira or similar software
