$100M/YR heavy civil contractor, has an immediate need for a Chief Financial Officer. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all of the company's financial operations.
Responsibilities
Complete Company Financial and Accounting planning and oversight.
Develop plans to increase company profit while reducing expenditure.
Assist the CEO in developing financial plans
Oversee all accounting procedures
Managing employees - this position will have 5 direct reports, including a Controller.
Financing and accounting for a large equipment fleet.
Maintaining strong banking relationships and cash flow.
Requirements:
Must have experience with percentage of completion, cash flow management, and general ledger for a self-performing construction GC, contractor, or sub-contractor.
Experience working for a Heavy Civil Contractor is preferred but not required.
Experience working through economic downturns, inflationary periods, etc... is required.
You must have a 4-year accounting or business degree.
Prefer someone local to the Auburn, AL area but will pay reasonable relocation expenses for the right candidate.
Compensation:
$175K - $225K plus a full benefits package.
