We have a fantastic opportunity at a local long standing, reputable steelwork contractor. Focusing on steel fabrication, working on a variety of commercial and residential projects, they are looking for a Shop Manager to come in and lead the shop team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the estimating team in preparing accurate project cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Oversee shop operations and ordering materials
Review shop drawings and scheduling fabrication lead times
Keeping shop safe and organized, whilst ensuring shop workers are performing to high standard
Making sure manufactured product meets specification and meets AISC standards
Experience:
3 years experience in structural steel fabrication
Supervisory experience (ideal)
