About Your New Role:

Eccalon's Commercialization Team develops and delivers products and strategies to bring advanced solutions and services to market. This team works across multiple lines of business and with multiple internal teams, guiding innovation to solve customer problems and enhance their experience while differentiating us from the competition. As part of this team, you will be joining a diverse team of architects, engineers, and designers working on a wide variety of both products and projects in the private and public sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage in API development and API integration for scalable solutions.
  • Interface with machine learning engineers to serve lightweight, robust machine learning models.
  • Test and revise design, code, and documentation based on user research and feedback.
  • Collaborate with data science and agile software development team members.
  • Develop fast, intuitive, high-volume web applications for a variety of industries, both public and private.
  • Develop secure, reliable, high-efficiency code utilizing the latest architectural approaches, including microservice and serverless.
  • Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
  • Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related fields
  • Foundational knowledge in application design, security, and scalability
  • Experience in Python, JavaScript, C#, Django Node.JS.
  • Frontend frameworks such as Vue and React.
  • Strong HTML5/CSS & Bootstrap capabilities.
  • Experience with cloud development in AWS and or other public clouds.
  • Passion for building phenomenal services through rapid prototyping.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time in an agile SDLC.
  • Basic Git source control experience
  • Docker basics.
  • Comfort working within a DevSecOps environment.
