Job Overview: We are seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to play a vital role in ensuring that construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive quality control program to identify and address any issues that may arise during the construction process. The Construction Quality Control Manager collaborates closely with project teams, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to uphold quality standards, mitigate risks, and deliver successful projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control (QC) program for all construction activities in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites, materials, and workmanship to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to establish quality control procedures and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure that quality requirements are clearly defined and achievable.
  5. Monitor and document construction activities, including testing and inspection results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
  6. Provide guidance and training to project teams on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
  7. Coordinate with third-party agencies and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits, certifications, and approvals.
  8. Investigate root causes of quality deficiencies and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  9. Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including reports, logs, and records, for internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Participate in project meetings, reviews, and audits to assess quality performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  11. Stay abreast of industry developments, trends, and advancements in construction quality management practices.


Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field AND 3 years related construction field experience.
  2. Completion of a Construction Quality Management for Construction course.
  3. Completion of 30-hour OSHA Certification.
  4. Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques, as well as relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, AISC, ASME).
  5. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality assurance/control methodologies.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders.
  8. Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve quality objectives.
  9. Certification(s) in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma) is a plus.
