Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Products & Services Quality Manager (Level K) to support the 737 Program in Renton, WA.

The 737-Wings assembly team is looking for a First Line Quality Manager to support return to delivery. This is a fast-paced Wings assembly position. The candidate will be supporting a team of 10 to 15 quality inspectors. They will be preforming Quality Management Systems (QMS) oversight activities site wide. This position will be reporting to a senior quality manager supporting offsite activities and supporting onsite manufacturing managers.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations.
  • Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Provide education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Acquire and manage resources and lead process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees.


This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in leading or managing multifunctional teams in quality or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience using Systematic Problem Solving.
  • 3+ years experience in manufacturing and/or quality
  • 3+ years of experience working on the 737 program
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience with Root Cause Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years related exp.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and teaming skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: 115,600 - 156,400
