Job Description:

POSITION DUTIES: Perform the administration of systems and network security using Firewalls and IPS systems, VPN concentrators, Network Access Control, load balancers, vulnerability assessment and management tools and other Internet security systems using knowledge of Network technologies, protocols (IP, TPC, UDP), Network addressing, NAT, DNS. Network troubleshooting, packet capture and analysis; Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco ASA, Cisco Identity Services Engine or Citrix Netscaler. Monitor firewall and intrusion detection logs, Extended Detection & Response (XDR) portal and scrutinize network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity.*POSITION DUTIES: *Perform the administration of systems and network security using Firewalls and IPS systems, VPN concentrators, Network Access Control, load balancers, vulnerability assessment and management tools and other Internet security systems using knowledge of Network technologies, protocols (IP, TPC, UDP), Network addressing, NAT, DNS. Network troubleshooting, packet capture and analysis; Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco ASA, Cisco Identity Services Engine or Citrix Netscaler.  Monitor firewall and intrusion detection logs, Extended Detection & Response (XDR) portal and scrutinize network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity.  Interpret activity and make recommendations for resolution. Perform the administration of anti-virus and malware prevention systems using AI enabled end point protection. Manage systems to keep data, servers, networks, and end user PC's clean of virus and malware penetration. Administer web filtering systems to manage and track user Internet activity with the ability to report on the individual user level when requested by management. Maintain enforcement of policies, procedures, standards and associated plans for system security administration and system access based on industry-standard best practices.  Participate in security audits, assessments and tasks to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information is not compromised. Perform vulnerability scanning assessments of systems in order to identify system, data, or network vulnerabilities.  Perform the analysis of potential cloud service technologies when under consideration.  Ensure that controls are deployed to protect data, applications, and the associated infrastructure of the provider. Verify that their infrastructure is secure, and that client data and applications are protected. Assist with the review of any potential service level agreements with cloud providers.  Research emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security enhancement and development efforts.

*REQUIREMENTS:  *Master of Science in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 3 years' experience as Information Security Administrator, Analyst, or Network Engineer. In lieu of Master's degree, a Bachelor of Science plus 5 years' experience in positions above is acceptable.  This position also requires at least 3 years of working knowledge of network technologies, protocols (IP, TPC, UDP), network addressing, NAT, DNS, network troubleshooting, packet capture & analysis; Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco ASA, Cisco Identity Services Engine or Citrix Netscaler. Travel required to company facilities & suppliers up to 10% of work schedule. May work remotely from home up to two days per week.
