Job Description:

Position Summary:


An investment management firm is seeking a fund accountant to add to their expanding team. This position will serve as a primary contact of operations and help the team with assigned tasks and special projects.


Key Responsibilities:

• Review quarterly fund financial statements prepared by team members and administrators


• Assist in auditing fund financial statements


• Manage cash position entries and journal entries for a variety of private equity funds


• Work independently with clients to address questions


• Oversee aspects of the department's primary functions


• Present the department's objectives and initiatives to internal staff and current or potential clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (B.A., B.S., B.B.A.)


• 3+ years of experience


• Knowledge of private equity fund services industry is a PLUS


• Microsoft Office experience is a PLUS
