Position PurposeThe Account Executive Lead develops and grows a sales team that achieves or exceeds service sales objectives. This individual creates and implements sales processes and strategies that drive profitability and promotes selling HVAC Projects to property managers and building owners. This individual will utilize their extensive knowledge of mechanical solutions and equipment to create and build upon relationships with internal and external customers and defines/negotiates sales goals and quotas for the MS Sales team while taking lead on handling sales for key customers and projects.   • Develop efficient, productive, cost conscious, and enthusiastic sales personnel through recruitment, training, supervision, leadership, motivation, moral support, counseling and performance and salary reviews.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, standardization, profitability, compatibility, coordination and timeliness of business unit sales, proposals (including T&C’s), marketing and estimating activities.
  • Maintain positive factory, customer, vendor, and supplier relationships through frequent, active contact.
  • Achieve or exceeds business unit sales and profit objectives through effective supervision, training, efficient account/quota assignment, and monitoring of sales personnel and accounts.
  • Assist sales staff with targeted planning and selling opportunities and provides training on LONG’s sales systems and philosophies.
  • Sets and maintains sales professionals’ financial quotas.
  • Coordinate programs, sales and management initiatives with other business unit managers and sales personnel.
  • Help to resolve all customer and sales disputes through effective and peaceful interaction with operations and all pertinent business units/personnel and ensures that LONG is fairly compensated for all work performed.
  • Assist sales reps and accounts receivable personnel with account collections and other delicate issues.
  • Involve LONG management in bid and other business opportunities that present unusual or excessive risk.
  • Targets and develops vertical markets, national accounts and their respective sales strategies.
  • Participate in and manages LONG MS’s activities in professional organizations (i.e. ASHRAE, CAHED, BOMA, IFMA) and trade shows.
  • Conduct on-going forecasting for LONG personnel needs, market opportunities and develops business unit sales budgets on a fixed annual date of the preceding year.
  • Effectively administers all rules for division of commission among staff and oversees proper maintenance and effective mining of CRM database
  • Assist and trains reps on effectively surveying building equipment to support generating comprehensive proposals and profitable pricing structures.
  • Negotiate and sell project agreements as needed.
  • Always abide by all LONG and OSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications
  • 4-year business or engineering degree and 2 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC electrical, mechanical systems, and moderate knowledge of HVAC control systems.
  • Prior sales experience with commercial building services
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including upper management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain attention to detail
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to travel to and inspect jobsites and to visit customer businesses
  • Ability to legally drive a motor vehicle

Physical Requirements
  • This position may require lifting to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds or elevated platforms as needed.
