Advertised Job Summary
To serve as Administrative Coordinator for the department chair, faculty, graduate students and undergraduate students in the Department of Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences. To prepare and coordinate all aspects graduate students paperwork with the Director of Graduate Studies.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Bachelor’s degree and 1 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer knowledge of Graduate school policies and procedures and USC policies and procedures.
Prefer proficiency in PeopleSoft and other systems currently in use at USC.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of USC policies and procedures and Graduate School policies and procedures. Experience in PeopleSoft HCM systems and other USC systems. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office programs. Familiarity and experience with the grant submission system for awards through the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Ability to manage a variety of administrative duties.
