Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring Assembler in Columbia, MO




Responsibilities:

  • The Assembler position assembles, inspects, checks tests, repairs, and pack QO style electrical breakers.
  • The job contains multiple tasks performed in a rotation.
  • Work on production line on a daily basis in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work schedule is a 40-hour week with opportunities for overtime.



Requirements:

  • You may be a fit for this position if you are able to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Hungry to learn and grow with a great company, exhibit excellent communication skills.
  • Able to read and follow written work instructions to create a quality product, work well with a team and are self-directed with a desire to always meet our customers' needs.



Critical Job Demands

  • Must have manual dexterity (use of hands) Strong sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail and quality Ability to clearly communicate with team members.
  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to stand at workstation for entirety of shift.



Preferred Qualification:

  • Manufacturing/logistics experience (site specific).

This is a full-time Contract opportunity.



Schedule:
2nd Shift Mon - Thur 3.45 PM-12.45 AM-Friday 12.45 PM-645 PM



Location: Columbia, MO



Duration:
12+
Months



Pay Range: $
17 to $18.50 per
hour.
