We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We are looking for an IT Administrator to join our team in Duluth, GA!
Main Responsibilities
The delivery of high quality IT support services to the NAM HQ office, other Kapsch offices and all remote employees via established processes
Willingness to be on-site during site conferences and provide support as-needed
Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative models. Maintaining, enhancing, repairing, installing and restoring operations on end user desktop and office systems
Troubleshoot problems including hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; make repairs and corrections where required.
Assist on special projects as required.
Maintain change control and understanding of change management procedures
Managing and troubleshooting all customer VPN related issues
Identify, isolate and resolve problems related to intranet/internet.
Required Skills
Thorough understanding of the following LAN infrastructure protocols: TCP/IP, DHCP, ARP, DNS, VPN's
Competency with Active Directory environment/troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Android and iOS devices (Microsoft Intune MDM)
Strong proficiency of Microsoft O365 suite including Teams and SharePoint and Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Defender, Exchange Online, OneDrive
Familiar with Wide Area Network configurations and concepts
Thorough knowledge of VLANS, trunking, and sub-netting
Thorough knowledge of Ethernet cabling and switching
Understand and be able to configure, image and troubleshoot and test Windows 10 and 11 standard laptop and desktop setups
College or specialized post-secondary education in the area of personal computer hardware maintenance and repair is required to fulfil the responsibilities of this position
Three years or more of IT work experience which includes troubleshooting and supporting moderate to complex LAN/WAN systems
CompTIA A+ and Network+, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certifications preferred
