Seeking full-time Information Technology Manager to oversee and manage the design, maintenance and enhancement of the Firm's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, and cloud-based solutions. Hours for this position are 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Minimum eight years of progressive related IT work experience. • Minimum two years of IT experience within a Law Firm environment. • Experience in direct management of a minimum of five employees, including; performance reviews, coaching and mentoring, and providing feedback. • Proven experience in IT infrastructure, IT security and computer hardware. • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 & 2019, Office 365, Microsoft Cloud and Azure. • Microsoft Certified Professional highly preferred. • Experience with Document Management Systems such as iManage and/or CPI. • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and the ability to administer and troubleshoot network devices. • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities include: • Manage and mentor the team responsible for IT support services; supervise work schedules and priorities, and participate in performance management. • Manage the IT Service process to ensure timely and high quality service delivery, IT reporting systems usage compliance, and documentation & procedures are aligned with solutions provided. • Manage the implementation of Firm-wide IT projects, initiatives and related deployments. • Provide guidance to the IT Team to analyze, understand, and resolve technically complex issues through high-level, in-depth research and analysis to a high-level remediation on all incidents; and resolve technical issues. • Implement and manage Firm systems including networks, storage, Exchange, physical and virtual servers, Active Directory and Group Policy, Certificate Services, authentication systems, and remote access & mobility systems. • Ensure the security and compliance of all IT systems, including data protection, access control, and disaster recovery planning. • Establish and maintain a high-level of competency utilizing the Firm's applications (Microsoft Office, iManage DMS, CPI, etc.). • Administer and support cloud-based systems and related services (Azure, Office 365). • Prepare and distribute technical documentation for all assigned systems and projects involving processes, procedures, troubleshooting guides, training and change management logs. • Ensure prompt and effective IT support for all employees, addressing technical issues and providing guidance on IT-related matters. • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment. • Responsible for the upgrading, ordering, deployment, inventory and maintenance of all office hardware.
