Position Overview for the Product Engineering Supervisor:
Our client is looking for a candidate to manage a team of CAD Designers; handling mostly drafting/CAD designs based on customer needs. They are responsible for maintaining the integrity of design files, providing technical support, and driving continuous improvement in CAD workflows. They will also provide technical support for new CAD users and develop new team members.
Required Skills for the Product Engineering Supervisor:
5+ years of related experience with analytical and CAD software including SolidWorks
Requires a Bachelor's degree (Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
Extensive knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
