Job Profile: Procurement Director Summary: The BL Procurement Director is accountable for execution of the 'Purchase to Pay' operational processes delivery performance based on: requirements plans set by the Business Lines SIOP/MRP, the contracts set up by the Global Commodity teams, supplier quality standards executed through SQEs and standardized Means & Methods. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Responsible for supporting the Global Commodity teams in managing relationship with suppliers ? Takes functional lead for key Procurement Function Development projects ? Reports Functionally to the CPO and Operationally to the BLCOO. ? Accountable for the BL interface New Proposals / Major Change, NPI, Continuous Improvement ? Accountable to the BLCOO for Supplier Performance and Continuous ? Accountable to the BL President andf CPO for Change Programmes, Bids, NPI ? Accountable for the integration of Bids and change programmes affecting BL Supply ? Represents Procurement at internal BR reviews and external Customer reviews on new proposals and supply performance Key accountabilities ? Manage implementation of contracts in-line with commodity strategy ? Responsible for realizing Operational targets ? Organize Operational reviews including BR with Stakeholders (eg. KPI's, targets, compliance, ...) ? Responsible for active Supply Chain risk management ? Manage implementation of contracts within sites, including necessary transfers of work / products. ? Responsible for realizing targets: - Supplier delivery performance - - Supplier quality performance Raw material inventory performance - Invoice management performance ? Accountable for Procurement interface with BLs on programmes interfaces and bids throughout the life cycle ? Accountable for the delivery of supply chain change programmes within the BL scope ? Works in close collaboration with Commodity to ensure BL / Programme requirements are flowed down and supply solutions meet targets ? Proactively identifies change opportunities to improve business performance. Required Qualifications: ? BSc degree, or equivalent in an Engineering or Science discipline ? Minimum of 20 years relevant business experience ? Minimum of 10 years experience in Procurement SCM or Production Management ? Previous and significant experience with an international supply base ? Experieince in leading supply side major change programmes or NPI projects ? A demonstrated ability to build relations with a supplier network and having insight in suppliers processes ? A demonstrated ability to develop an performance excellence organistion ? A track record of Leadership to work with cross functional teams Preferred Qualifications: ?
