Rate: flexible/competitive; starting at $72hr/150k (depending on candidates correlation to LCAT)
Key Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related IT field
C/C++ experience with embedded software programming
Strong expertise in embedded firmware
High-speed serial communication experience: Aurora, 10Ge, PCIe, etc.
Development and implementation of FPGA-optimized versions of DSP algorithms
Responsibilities:
As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and testing firmware solutions for high-speed FPGAs, with a focus on enhancing signal processing capabilities within the FPGA solutions. Collaborating with design teams to provide additional support in circuit and PC board design will also be a part of your daily tasks.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
6+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in embedded software/firmware design and strong skills in C/C++, VHDL, and TCL
Experience in FPGA system design from architecture to implementation
Familiarity with modern Xilinx FPGA families and design tools
