Verinext is actively seeking a proficient System Engineer II to join our esteemed team. This role demands adept management and upkeep of our internal systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance while maintaining top-tier security.
Roles and Responsibilities:
System Imaging: Lead the creation, maintenance, and deployment of the standardized image across all company computers.
Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets within the organization.
Manage Engine Service Desk Plus: Oversee and maintain the Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, including inventory and lifecycle manager modules.
Active Directory (AD) Maintenance: Execute routine AD tasks such as user account and group management.
Server and VMware Patching: Apply patches to servers and VMware infrastructure to uphold security and efficiency standards.
Tier 2 Escalation: Serve as the primary escalation point for Tier 2 support issues, delivering expert troubleshooting and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional Experience: Proven track record in System Engineering or equivalent roles.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of system imaging, inventory management, Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, Active Directory, server patching, and VMware patching.
Skill Set: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, adept at handling Tier 2 escalations, and strong interpersonal skills crucial for effective teamwork and communication.
