Position Description

Responsibilities include:

- Investigational lead of Enzyme production, QC testing, Formulation

- Part of new product/process implementation.

- Establishing procedures, processes, and KPI's in order to track, trend, and monitor reproducibility, repeatability and robustness

- Initiate and lead investigations, document investigations in reports, recommend and implement fixes.

- Create work instructions for new procedures/processes and train staff to the same.

- Generate sound justifications through statistical analysis, trend charts, etc...

- Work as an individual contributor (investigator) but also as a team player (implementor)

- Develop recovery and purification process that uses clarification of column chromatography

- Perform validation of systems, processes, etc.

Position Requirements

- Enzymology/Chemical Engineer/Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology with focus on production process and testing procedures of enzymes (PhD 1-3 years; MS 4-6 years; BS 7-10 year).

- In depth experience with specific equipment/technologies might include AKTA, TFF, Nanodrop, qPCR, DNA Sequencer, PCR, and radioactive testing.

- Experience in areas of purification process development is preferred.

- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and specifically illustrate strong oral and written technical communications.

- Seamlessly present research outcomes to multifunctional teams

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and capability to overcome complex issues.

- Demonstrated success in coordinating and executing important projects to achieve business goals.

- Must have a "results-oriented" work ethic and a positive "can-do" attitude with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivated desire to achieve.
