Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tech Room Technician. The Tech Room Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with handling intel-based servers, including Lenovo (ThinkSystem) and IBM (formerly System x) systems. This includes processing builds and tear downs, organizing and maintaining inventory, conducting hardware testing and troubleshooting, and coordinating logistics for product delivery. The Tech Room Technician will also provide technical support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience with handling and troubleshooting intel-based servers, specifically Lenovo (ThinkSystem) and IBM (formerly System x) systems
Knowledge of storage systems and related hardware
Proficiency in conducting hardware testing and troubleshooting
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Previous experience in a data-center or IT hardware environment is a plus
