Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. Proven experience as a NetSuite Developer or NetSuite Software Engineer, with deep knowledge of NetSuite ERP and CRM modules.

As a NetSuite Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining customized solutions within the NetSuite platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs that align with our company's objectives. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of NetSuite architecture, configuration, and customization capabilities, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and implementing NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteFlow, Suit eBuilder, SuiteTalk, and other NetSuite tools.
  • Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and proposing scalable solutions within NetSuite.
  • Performing system configuration and enhancement, including workflows, scripting, and data integrations.
  • Conducting unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of customizations and configurations.
  • Providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing NetSuite implementations, including monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Creating technical documentation and training materials for end-users and technical teams.
  • Keeping abreast of NetSuite updates, new features, and functionalities, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a NetSuite Developer or NetSuite Software Engineer, with deep knowledge of NetSuite ERP and CRM modules.
  • Strong proficiency in SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics.
  • Experience with SuiteScript 2.0 and SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
  • Solid understanding of ERP business processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report cycles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer, or NetSuite ERP Consultant.
  • Familiarity with other cloud-based ERP systems and integration platforms.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP web services and API integrations.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and data migration tools.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Walking and climbing stairs
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times
  • Adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
  • Plant equipment noise is elevated requiring the use of hearing protection and seasonal temperatures can be expected
