POSITION OVERVIEW
We seek a high-level project management director working in a high-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing overall direction and leadership to the project management team.
Work within team settings to improve service, communication and customer satisfaction by implementing service and operations strategies.
Create personal and team goals that will help streamline development.
Collaborate with management on important business decisions as well as manage major customer accounts.
Provide significant process and/or product expertise, and be a subject matter expert resource for other team members.
Effectively manage all customer orders from estimate through shipping & invoicing.
Work directly with other managers and departments to ensure that supply chain obstacles are overcome and managed accordingly to ensure on time delivery.
Works closely with production and shipping to provide production demands that can impacting labor, freight, and scheduling concerns.
Daily coordination and collaboration between departments, customers, sales, management, and ownership.
Qualifications
3+yrs experience managing a manufacturing project management department
Excellent communication skills
Estimating experience
Supply chain
Working experience of ERP systems (Amtech, SAP, Oracle, Kiwi, AS400)
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task at a very high level
Process improvement projects
Ability to service both internal and external customers (sales, customers, manufacturing, ownership)
Vendor management experience
