We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the team as the Vice President of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our events management company, ensuring efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a strong background in event planning and management.

Focus:
  • Provide overall leadership and direction to the operations team, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring they align with client expectations and company standards.
  • Supervise the coordination of all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and on-site management.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure profitability.
  • Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing operations team.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Establish and enforce quality control processes to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of events.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and safety regulations.

Skill Set
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment and facilities management, warehousing, distribution, dispatching, and inventory control.
  • Strong background in operational analytics, safety, and labor management.
  • Proven ability to deliver reliable products and services that exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and management skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Sage, Concur, and Point of Rental (POR) software.
  • Fluency in Spanish, a plus.
