Job Description

The goal of this role is to plan and run our internal communications activities across Region Americas. This includes defining a creative concept, ensure alignment across the region and the broader Sika Group direction and execute various initiatives that help to stimulate reach and impact for our employees. This role will help us build stronger connections within our organization improving the employee experience across and to strengthen and promote our culture of One Team Many Voices.
  • Develop an internal communications concept and plan for Region Americas that reflect our Sika values.
  • Define, innovate, and lead key internal communications channels such as newsletters, video messages, intranet and town-halls.
  • Launch and create engaging content campaigns that inspire our employees, create connectivity, and provide clarity on key strategic topics.
  • Roll-out implementation of Corporate Communications campaigns, tools, and resources in the region.
  • Work closely with the leadership of Region Americas, HR, and Corporate Communications to ensure alignment of key messages.
  • Proactively raise awareness of our talent priorities and programs companywide by partnering with Human Resources, Marketing and Corporate Communications teams to ensure alignment of messaging and with corporate brand standards.
  • Assist with preparing and coordinating communication materials that support interactions with employees, news media, and other audiences.
  • Suggest new and innovative means of communicating relevant messaging across the company.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or similar field.
  • 3-5 years' experience of internal communications experience.
  • Excellent organization and planning/project management skills, including the ability to design and execute on communication campaigns/initiatives.
  • Ability to distill, translate, and implement big ideas/vision into actionable plans that can become reality.
  • Must be able to manage several projects at a time and meet evolving deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering simple, effective, and compelling messages. Ensure all content and messages are inclusive and honor our commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Community and Sustainability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, desktop publishing and video creations is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish. Trilingual a plus: English, Spanish and Portuguese.
